Rampart
Rampart is different from other defense legends because her tactics can be useful in open places. Her tactics can make an unplanned cover in the open, so her team doesn’t have to run for cover and can shoot back at the enemy instead. Her walls are a great way to lock down inner areas and give every weapon in the game a damage boost.
How well players use their tactics and plans affects how easy it is for them to learn how to use Rampart. Rampart’s ultimate slows her down, so she shouldn’t use it unless she has to.
Fuse
To get the most out of Fuse, players should use his skills as often as possible. A good way to use Fuse’s tactic is to spam it on enemies who are hiding indoors, around edges, or on players who are already down. Horizon’s ultimate works well with Fuse because he can use it to set off a flurry of explosives that will do a lot of damage to enemies. Fuse can carry two bombs in each slot and fire them farther and faster than any other legend.
The ultimate ability of Fuse is also great for getting enemies out of a certain area, but it rarely does damage. If an enemy is caught inside the ultimate, they will be shown, and if they are cut off from their team, it may open a door.
Newcastle
Newcastle has gotten worse, and he is one of the least-picked heroes in the game right now. His skills are useful, but for them to work well, the team needs to work together and talk to each other. Newcastle’s ultimate skill lets him come in from afar and save friends who are in danger. As for his passive, players must find a gold knockdown shield to make fighting in Newcastle a nightmare.
Once Newcastle has a gold knockdown shield, he can help his friends who have been knocked down and make the other team afraid. A Newcastle restart can’t be stopped by enemies who don’t work together. By pairing Newcastle with a defensive legend like Wattson, enemies will have a harder time stopping revives.
Gibraltar
For most of his time in Apex Legends, Gibraltar was one of the best legends. His drop rate has dropped a lot, so players rarely pick him up. Gibraltar has a big area where he can be hit, which makes him a huge underdog in any shootout. To use Gibraltar well, players need to work together as a team. Gibraltar works well with both defensive and offensive legends because his tactics let him make a protective bubble that works to his advantage.
Gamers call the battles that happen around Gibraltar’s Dome of Protection tactic “Bubble Fights” to understand how to use Gibraltar. Gibraltar players have to use shotguns or SMGs to kill enemies close up and sneak in and out of their bubbles during bubble fights.
Gibraltar’s passive is probably the most important part of his kit. Because it makes him good at fighting up close. Gibraltar’s Gun Shield gives him 50 more points of protection and heals quickly. A fortified Gibraltar with red shields and Gun Shield will need 275 damage. Which doesn’t account for the fact that he will take less damage because he is reinforced.
Catalyst
In Apex Legends, doors are everywhere, and Catalyst is the best when it comes to playing around them. The door queen can lock two doors at once and use three of her tactical floor spikes. If enemies don’t use grenades, it takes four kicks to break down a protected door. When Catalyst is out in the open, her spikes aren’t very useful because enemies can easily dodge them.
Players who learn Catalyst will find that her ultimate is great out in the open. Where none of her other skills are useful. Her ultimate can split up a territory and is most useful in the end zones. Her Dark Veil changes the focus of fights in the final ring and forces enemies to fight each other on their side of the ultimate.
Wattson
Wattson has always been one of the stars who is picked the least. She doesn’t have any ways to move or protect herself if she gets caught out in the open. Wattson can learn a lot, but her gear is only useful in certain conditions.
Wattson’s skills are made for fighting inside, since her fences close off places and hurt enemies who aren’t careful. Her ultimate is useful late in Doodle Cricket, but she needs to be behind cover to use it. Wattson’s Interception Pylon can stop grenades and many other abilities, giving her team room to breathe in the last few rounds.
Players should always have ultimate accelerants on hand. Since Wattson’s ultimate can only be charged with one, and she can carry two in one spot.
