As We See It: McKinley Monument | Multimedia

“As We See It,” a sequence by The Buffalo Info photos employees, takes a contemporary seem at space landmarks. Nearly each of our photographers offers his or her distinctive viewpoint.

The McKinley Monument is a 96-foot tall obelisk in Niagara Sq. surrounded by marble lions and fountains. The monument was commissioned by the Level out of New York and targeted Sept. 6, 1907, in reminiscence of William McKinley, the twenty fifth president of the USA who was fatally shot on Sept. 6, 1901, though attending the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo.
